Today, I did an experiment about fire and boiling with my friend, Robin. Robin is kind so we worked very well and my result is below.
1. FIRE EXPERIMENT
2. 6/9/2015
3. Quan
4. Does sugar water turn to another color
when we boil it.
5. Sugar, Water
Thermometer
6. If you boil sugar water, it will smell bad.
If you boil sugar water, it will have more
bubbles.
7. Beaker, tripod stand, thermometer, tap
water, sugar, Bunsen burner, wire gauze,
stopwatch
8. 1. Take approximately 100 cc. of water in the beaker.

8. 1. Take approximately 100 cc. of water in the beaker.
2. Note the temperature of water.
3. Use the Bunsen burner to heating up the water.
4. Read every thirty seconds the temperature and write it down.
5. Finish when you are reaching the boiling point (100 degrees).
10. Water was turning hot faster than sugar water.
11. Both of my predictions were correct.
The answer is sugar water doesn’t turn
another color.
